Throughout August and September 2026, Hangzhou Chuanhe Machinery Co., Ltd. organized a series of four-day, three-night employee trips to Wuyishan, China. Taking part in separate groups, colleagues stepped away from their daily routines to explore the region’s mountains, rivers and tea culture—and spend time together beyond the workplace.
The retreat offered employees from different roles and departments an opportunity to relax, get to know one another and create shared memories.
Finding Connection Along the Way
Departing from Hangzhou by high-speed train, the groups began their journey with visits to Yixiantian and Yunu Peak. Away from workshops, offices and meeting rooms, conversations took on a more relaxed rhythm.
The climb up Tianyou Peak brought a shared challenge. Colleagues moved at different speeds, waited for one another during breaks and stopped together to enjoy the views over the Jiuqu River.
These small moments of encouragement reflected a value that matters to the Chuanhe team: supporting one another while working towards a common destination.
Experiencing Wuyishan’s Tea Culture
The journey also introduced employees to the traditions behind Wuyishan’s famous tea.
In the Dahongpao scenic area, colleagues visited tea gardens and took part in tea picking and hands-on tea processing. Following the steps from fresh leaves to traditional preparation gave everyone a chance to try something unfamiliar together.

An evening performance of Impression Dahongpao added another perspective on the region’s landscape and cultural heritage.
For colleagues who rarely have time to talk during a busy working day, these activities created space for new conversations and closer connections.
Shared Experiences, Lasting Memories
Further highlights included visits to Huxiao Rock, traditional-style streets and a local smoked-goose preparation experience. Bamboo rafting along the Jiuqu River offered a quieter way to appreciate the surrounding mountains, with colleagues sharing photographs, stories and laughter along the route.

On the final day, the groups explored Xiamei’s historic residences and streets before returning to Hangzhou.
The trip lasted only a few days, but the memories extended beyond the itinerary: waiting for a colleague on a mountain path, learning a new skill together and getting to know the people behind familiar job titles.
Moving Forward Together
At Chuanhe Machinery, we believe a company’s development depends on the people who contribute to it every day.
The 2026 Wuyishan retreat was an opportunity to recognize that contribution and make time for life beyond work. Employees returned with shared experiences and a better understanding of colleagues across the company.
As new projects and challenges await, that spirit of mutual support remains an important part of the Chuanhe team.
